The thirtieth day of the fourth month 1949, marks the birth of young Greg Aziz. He grew to become an intelligent man who scored his first degree in Ridley College and later extended his knowledge in economics which he majored in at the University of Western Ontario. He joined a family owned wholesale food business, Affiliated Foods, in 1971. The company gradually grew and became the leading importers from Europe, Central, and Southern America of fresh fruit in sixteen years. They also distributed fruit to major wholesale markets in the U.S, and they were on the front line.

 

 

In between the late 80’s and early 90’s, in New York, Greg Aziz had different investments but his breakthrough when he organized the buying of National Steel Car from Dofasco, and he had every intention to make it the leading railroad freight car manufacturer. Being the only railroad freight car, engineering and manufacturing company in the country, National Steel Car has been honored with the highest quality award by TTX SECO since 1996. Greg James Aziz has always made the needs of his clients’ precedence over his own; Aziz built a strong bond with both clients and suppliers and enrolling employees’ services who manufacture the best railcars in the world with joy and pride. Louis Chenevert will go down in history as one of the most successful CEOs who believed in both hard work and teamwork. He was born French- Canadian in Quebec. Louis attended the Universite de Montreal where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in production management. His career began at General Motors where he worked for about 14 years before joining Pratt & Whitney in 1993. After six years of service, Mr. Louis Chenevert rose through the ranks to the presidency of Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corporation. Achievements

During his reign at UTC, Mr. Louis R. Chenevert achieved what most CEOs only dream and imagine. Louis was able to acquire Goodrich at $18.4 billion after lengthy negotiations with the management. Mr. Louis played a part in putting UTC at a competitive level with other firms by venturing into potential projects that could ensure the company meets its objectives. Mr. Louis Chenevert also spearheaded UTC’s Pratt & Whitney towards winning the legal rights to supply the US government with the F-35 engine. Currently, UTC’s Sikorsky unit is the leading manufacturer of helicopters in the United States. Mr. Louis leadership character was put to test when UTC was undergoing an adverse economic recession. Nevertheless, he relentlessly put back the firm in a better position, and they were able to achieve their objectives.Mr. Louis R. Chenevert willingly resigned as the CEO and President of United Technologies Corporation and gave way to his successor Edward Kangas. His legacy at UTC will live on forever.
