Big news! Charlamagne tha God is going to the festivities and the podcast industry is having its very first award show! Charlamagne Tha God is a writer and has a book titled “Black Privilege” which ranked sixth in the New York Times of bestselling hardback nonfiction on May 7 2017. Another book Charlamagne Tha God has written is titled “Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks On Me”.

The iheartmedia will host its introductory podcast awards show on January 8th. This ninety minute ceremony will be held at the the iHeartmedia theater that’s located in Los Angeles. It’ll be the very first live award show podcast that allows listeners to decide on the losers and winners.

Voting will start on October 22 on the iheart Awards website but the live show will start on January 18th at 8:00 PM.
