Grace Farms utilizes the bountiful outdoor environment to help inspire users thought process, garner preservation, increase communication, widen appreciation for every aspect of nature, and foster understanding and education to all its users.

Grace Farms is run by Sharon Prince who is the President and chair of this foundation, which has been in existence since 2009. Sharon Prince Grace Farms has enhanced the lives of numerous people by engaging with arts, nature, faith, community, and justice. Her role in leading the organization has not only helped the organization make a significant difference in the lives of many individuals; it has also helped it garner numerous awards.

Some of the awards Sharon Prince Grace Farms has received over the years revolve around its contribution to environmental sustainability, architecture, and social good. These awards include the Miles Crown Hall Americas Prize, the AIA National 2017 Architecture Honor award, and the Fast Company’s 2016 Innovation award.

Her work has also made it possible for the foundation to fight against human trafficking, child exploitation, and violence against women on a national, local, and international scale. In addition to what libraries and community centers offer they also address humanitarian issues as well as the pursuit of justice. This new model is one that might set the new model of what community gathering spots look like in the years to come.

Grace Farms is one of these new types of community gathering spots. It sits on land that is protected by Grace Farms and so features the beauty of nature. The structure was designed to blend in with this nature as well as the horizon. It incorporates community, nature, justice, and faith into something that everyone can enjoy.
